Preview: A History Channel Thanksgiving

Matt and Trey have made two Thanksgiving episodes, and both ("Starvin' Marvin" and "Helen Keller! The Musical") are A's. "The Entity" also aired around Thanksgiving and deals with the hassles of air travel on the holiday, and that was also good. Judging from that it should be good tonight.

Not sure about the titular History Channel thing though. I do like watching said channel (love the Rome shows) but lately it's been just conspiracy shows and 2012 apocalyptic predictions or dumb reality shows, like "Ice Road Truckers" or "Pawn Stars." I was surprised when they didn't rip on any History shows two years ago during their run of destroying other cable shows ("Dead Celebrities," "W.T.F.", "Whale Whores"). And none of those episodes were any good - "Dead Celebrities" would have been a fourth tier without the Michael Jackson plot, while the other two were.

I have mixed expectations as usual tonight. As is often the case, this appears at first glance to be a real love-it-or-hate-it ep. Let's see which one it is.
