Post-episode: Super Fun Time

Well, it didn't suck. A lot of it was actually good, especially the Cartman/Butters scenes. The highlight was definitely the bumper cars scene, which was the best moment so far this season, and the rest of the titular scenes were good as well. Wendy and Stan together was also good, though they need to do something about her voice - get someone who sounds like Mary Kay Bergman to do her voice if Matt and Trey want to keep her with Stan.

But the rest was OK, with most of the jokes running far too long. The "don't break character" jokes were funny at first, but it got stupid very quickly, and the characters refusing to break character even if it meant killing Kenny (by the way, I'm surprised he didn't die, and that would have helped the episode) wasn't funny, it was infuriating and completely impossible. (When I review "The Death Camp of Tolerance," I'll expand.) And the parody of "Die Hard" wasn't great either, though at least it wasn't as bad as the other parodies so far this season.

This is probably a second tier rating, which makes it one of the better episodes this run. I hope that the next run's more like this.
